Docucate Sodium 100 mg Crushable Tablets are for gentle and reliable relief from occasional constipation. They are a generic for Colace Crushable and come in a pack of 4 bottles, with 100 tablets per bottle for a total of 400 tablets. These tablets are used as a stool softener to treat and prevent constipation. They typically produce a bowel movement within 12 to 72 hours.

Warnings: Do not use this medication if you are currently taking mineral oil unless instructed to do so by a doctor. Consult a doctor before use if you are experiencing stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits lasting over 2 weeks. Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience rectal bleeding or if you fail to have a bowel movement after use, as these could be signs of a serious condition. Do not use this product for longer than one week without consulting a doctor. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use. Keep this medication out of reach of children, and in case of an overdose, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Directions: For adults and children 12 years of age and older, take 1 tablet as needed, not exceeding 3 tablets daily, or as directed by a doctor. For children under 12 years of age, consult a doctor before use. These tablets may be swallowed whole or crushed and mixed with food.
